How it works:

The Emmett Technique is an understanding of the body’s response to light touch, small sensors in our body allow access to the brain via the therapists’ touch. These points may have a memory and emotional attachment and posses the ability to directly influence muscle action.

Its originator is an enormously talented and internationally recognised therapist from Queensland Ross Emmett, who over many decades created this unique method for relieving musculo-skeletal pain that is amazingly effective and yet very gentle.  Because of the gentleness of the technique it can be used to help people of all ages to gain  pain relief and improve function  without risk of adverse reaction.

I have been studying Emmett Technique with Ross since 2004 and have had the privilege of  being taught extensively by this incredibly gifted practitioner.

International Recognition:

The Emmett Technique is now taught  and practised throughout Europe, Asia,  and The United States.

It is perhaps true that Australia is the country least aware of this remarkable method; often the case that we Australians underestimate what we have in our own back yard!
